This Privacy Policy explains how Court X, Inc. (“Court X,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects information about you when you visit our website, use our court kiosks, booking tools and related applications, or otherwise interact with us (together, the “Services”).

Information we collect

We collect the following kinds of information:

• Information you give us. For example, your name, email address, phone number, club or organization, and anything you include when you contact us, create an account, book a court or sign in at a kiosk.
• Gameplay information. When you play on a Court X court, we record game results such as scores, shot counts, ball speeds, landing positions and leaderboard entries, along with the time, court and game mode.
• Camera and sensor data. Court X courts use cameras to track the ball and players so games can be scored. Video is processed by equipment at the court. Some game modes, such as replay, record short clips for playback on the kiosk.
• Device and usage information. When you visit our website we may automatically collect your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs and similar technical information, including through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use information

• To provide, operate and maintain the Services, including scoring games and showing results.
• To manage accounts, bookings and leaderboards.
• To respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.
• To improve the Services, including the accuracy of ball tracking and scoring.
• To send you service-related messages and, where permitted, marketing you can opt out of.
• To protect the security and integrity of the Services and to comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:

• With the club or venue operating the court you play on or book, so they can run their facility.
• With service providers who process information on our behalf, such as hosting, email and analytics providers, under contracts that limit their use of it.
• On leaderboards, which may show your display name and scores to other players at the venue.
• If required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

Cookies

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember preferences and understand how visitors use it. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, unless the law requires or permits a longer period. We keep camera footage only as long as we need it for scoring, replay and improving the Services.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email us at privacy@courtx.tennis. We will respond as required by applicable law. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in the email.

Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them without parental consent. Venues may let younger players use courts under adult supervision. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

International transfers

We may process and store information in countries other than the one where you live. When we do, we take steps to protect it as described in this policy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above, and for significant changes we may provide additional notice.
